ABSTRACT

This purpose of this article is to explore the language of Buletin Jumat Himmah STAIN Palangka Raya on Wittgenstein’s philosophy of ordinary language. This research applies eclectic-hermeneutics. It began by collecting and separating data. All those evaluated by elements such as description, interpretation, reflective, inclusive, and synthesis methods.

According to Wittgenstein, it is interesting to compare the multiplicity of the tools in language and of the ways, they are used, the multiplicities of kinds of word and sentence with what logicians have said about structure of language.

The language of Himmah used one of the kinds of language games, namely, religious langguage. Hence, it is suitable with Wittgensstein’s point of view.
